SAFFORD — The Arizona Interscholastic Association announced the Safford High School 1971 championship football team will be honored during this year’s football playoffs in Gilbert later this month.
Alumni have been unable to contact three members of the team — David Clark, Sam Fields and Tony Ortiz — to invite them to take part in the ceremony.
