Arizona’s Largest Blood Drive Returns to Eastern Arizona College
THATCHER, AZ — In partnership with Eastern Arizona College (EAC), the American Red Cross proudly announces the 25th Annual EAC Blood Drive and invites the community to be a part of this significant milestone. Arizona’s largest blood drive will take place at the Eastern Arizona College Activity Center, 615 N Stadium Ave, Thatcher, AZ 85552 on November 7th from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
For a quarter century, the EAC Blood Drive has played an important role in providing hospitals with a steady blood supply. Since 2001, the community has donated more than 8,000 units of blood to the EAC Blood Drive – enough to fill an average-sized swimming pool. Every two seconds in the United States, someone needs blood and each blood donation can save more than one life.
The Red Cross calls on all eligible donors to continue this tradition of saving lives. Donors are encouraged to make appointments to ensure efficient processing, though walk-ins are welcome. To schedule an appointment, visit RedCrossBlood.org and use the code EAC, or call 1-800-RED CROSS.
