THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s Division of Fine Arts and Department of Music invite students, faculty, and the community to attend its annual Fall Jazz Band Concert on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, at 7 p.m. in the Lee Little Theater, located in the EAC Activities Center.
The concert will feature the EAC Jazz Band under the direction of veteran EAC band director Geoff DeSpain. Attendees can look forward to an evening filled with jazz classics and new tunes that highlight the band’s range and talent.
“Our band has put in countless hours preparing for this concert,” DeSpain said. “These musicians aren’t just playing notes—they’re playing with heart, with passion, and with all the skin they’ve got in the jazz game. They’ve poured their souls into this music, and I can’t wait for the audience to feel that energy.”
Sponsored by EAC, the concert is free and open to the public.
