WILLCOX – A live, World War II hand grenade was found on private property near Willcox.
The grenade was secured by an Arizona Department of Public Safety bomb robot and transported to the Willcox Police gun range, where the grenade was safely detonated.
Assisting in safely removing the grenade was Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, Willcox Police, DPS, Willcox Fire and Healthcare Innovations.
