AZDPS Detectives seeking public’s help in locating white pickup truck involved in injury collision on Salt River bridge along I-10

On Saturday, July 6, 2019, at approximately 6:16 PM, a single-vehicle multiple injury collision occurred along westbound Interstate 10 on the Salt River Bridge, near 24th Street.

A Chevrolet sport utility vehicle (SUV) was traveling westbound when it was reportedly cut off by a white pickup truck. It is not believed the pickup truck collided with the SUV, which spun out of control and collided with the center median wall ejecting one passenger who was 17 years old.

Six passengers, and the driver, were treated for injuries at a local hospital.

The white pickup truck, described by witnesses as having gray primer around the right rear tire area, did not stop at the scene.

The driver of the SUV is suspected of being impaired and is currently under investigation by AZDPS detectives.

Detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating the white pickup truck.
