SAFFORD — The GFWC Woman’s Club of Safford is taking donations for its annual fund-raising auction.
The Woman’s Club is accepting donations of household items, purses, jewelry, antiques and gift baskets; however, clothing will not be accepted.
The auction raises funds for scholarships and Woman’s Club projects, such as the Valentine’s luncheon and dance for Gila Valley residents with special needs.
The auction will take place Friday, Nov. 21, at the clubhouse on Main Street in Safford. That same day the Woman’s Club will conduct its fund-raising raffle for gift cards and gift baskets.
Tickets are $1 each or 11 for $10, plus attendees of the auction will also receive one free raffle ticket.
