Volunteers needed to help St. Vincent de Paul paint

SAFFORD — St. Vincent de Paul Society is making a volunteer opportunity available.

Volunteers are need to help paint the building at 221 E. Main St. in Safford. The painting will take place June 14-15, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Supplies will be provided and volunteers are asked to wear clothing that is OK to get paint on, and is appropriate for the weather.

St. Vincent de Paul Society operates the thrift store, which is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The thrift store helps fund the food pantry, which is open Tuesday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to noon daily.

St. Vincent de Paul also coordinates with the Community Action Team for utility assistance and for transportation services.
