Virginia “Ginger” Nell Hall, a woman of unwavering faith, untamed spirit, and indomitable will, peacefully departed from this world on June 6, 2024. She was born in the charming city of El Paso, Texas on January 9, 1943, to parents Arthur Franklin Zent & Ena Arleen Smith Zent with siblings William Arthur & Daniel Ray Zent. Ginger’s journey came to an end in the serene town of Thatcher, Arizona.
Throughout her illustrious career as a business owner, Ginger made an indelible mark on the community with ventures into Grand Central Station, Sears, and Home Depot. Her entrepreneurial spirit was matched only by her dedication to hard work and excellence. Despite starting with just a GED for education, Ginger’s passion and determination propelled her to great heights in the business world.
Her vibrant personality was a beacon of light for all who crossed her path. Known for being faithful to her beliefs, adventurous in her pursuits, and strong-willed in facing challenges, Ginger inspired those around her to embrace life with courage and tenacity.
Away from the boardrooms and offices, Ginger found solace in the simple joys of life. She poured her heart into working in her garden, creating beautiful quilts that were treasured by many, and teasing out solutions to complex puzzles that mirrored her sharp intellect. Her favorite saying was “My name is Ginger and I’m spicy.”
In the hearts of those she leaves behind, Ginger’s memory will forever be cherished. She is survived by a legacy of love and strength carried on by her daughters Deborah Ann “Debbie” (Bob) Sennett, Cynthia Lynn “Cindy” Potts, Tina Marie (Robert) Gonzalez, and Rebecca Renee “Becky” Hall. Additionally, she leaves behind a thriving lineage of 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who will always be reminded of their remarkable matriarch. Not forgotten are Ginger’s faithful companions: Lily, Zeus & Snoopy – beloved pets whose unconditional affection brought joy and companionship to their devoted owner.
In the realm beyond our own, Ginger is reunited with loved ones who had gone before her are her spouses – Phillip Cook and Anthony Howard Hall, her father – Arthur Franklin Zent, her mother – Ena Arleen Smith Zent, and her brothers – William Arthur Zent and Daniel Ray Zent – their spirits now intertwined in eternal peace.
