THATCHER — What band can’t use an extra $2,000?
That’s the first prize in the 2024 Battle of the Bands contest at Graham County Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 13.
The deadline for bands to register is June 26, which will also get the band’s name on the official Battle of the Bands T-shirt. The application fee is $25 per band, which is refunded following the band’s performance. The line-up is limited to the first 20 bands to register.
In addition to the $2,000 first prize, second place will receive a $500 gift certificate to Richard’s Music, and third place will get a $250 Richard’s Music gift certificate.
Plus there are awards for singer, guitarist, bassist, drummer and specialty instrument.
