PHOENIX — Arizona State Parks and Trails is proud to offer free entrance to veterans, active duty military, and National Guard service members on Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11, in gratitude for their service to our country.
“We honor the bravery and sacrifices of our nation’s military members,” said Arizona State Parks and Trails Executive Director Bob Broscheid. “We’re proud to invite them to enjoy state parks on Veterans Day to relax, connect with nature, and have fun in Arizona’s beautiful parks.”
Arizona is home to more than 30 state parks, offering places to explore and activities to enjoy for everyone. Whether it’s getting on the water for a day of fishing, hitting the trails for a hike or mountain bike ride, or learning Arizona’s history in the museums of our state historic parks, there are endless opportunities for adventure.
