SAFFORD — Applications are being sought to fill a vacancy that exists on the Safford Unified School District’s governing board.
The appointment will serve through December 2022. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Matt Herrington.
Qualified candidates must be a registered voter in Graham County and have lived within the Safford School district for at least one year.
Those interested in serving are asked to send a letter of interest to Graham County School Superintendent Donna McGaughey at 921 Thatcher Blvd. Safford, AZ 85546. Include all contact information in the letter.
The deadline to submit a letter of interest is 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021.
