United Way helps fund Search and Rescue’s mission

SAFFORD — Graham County Search and Rescue received some help from the United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties.

Search and Rescue received a grant for $4,940 to assist with swift water rescue training and gear. Search and Rescue are routinely called out to conduct swift water rescues during heavy rains and flooding.

Graham County Search and Rescue is an all-volunteer organization, under the direction of the Graham County Sheriff’s Office.
