GLOBE – Arizona Department of Transportation is reporting that U.S. Highway 60 in Globe is closed in both directions due to flooding.
Gila Valley residents traveling to and from the Phoenix metro area are being diverted to State Routes 77 and 177.
The detour is about 70 miles and includes a 10-percent grade.
ADOT has not yet announced when motorists can expect U.S. 60 to be re-opened.
