SAFFORD — Two Safford businesses reported experiencing trash-related difficulties.
Valley Telecom officials told Safford Police they were finding bags of trash strewn about, apparently from the nearby Natural Remedy Patient Center medical marijuana dispensary.
Dispensary officials told police that vagabonds have been rifling through the trash, thinking they might find marijuana, none of which, officials said, is disposed of in the trash. Dispensary officials also reported placing a lock on the business’ Dumpster but the lock is routinely broken off.
Dispensary officials told police they would talk with their refuse servicer to see if a more secure trash receptacle is available.
