SUPERIOR — A trip to Phoenix this weekend could take a little longer than originally planned.
Arizona Department of Transportation announced there will be traffic stoppages on U.S. Highway 60 between Miami, Ariz., and Superior on Friday.
Flaggers will be sporadically closing lanes and stopping traffic between 7 a.m. and noon, with delays expected to last about 15 minutes.
The delays are due to girder arrival and replacement on Pinto Creek bridge.
