Top entries of Holiday Light Parade selected

SAFFORD — Winners of this year’s Country Financial Holiday Light Parade have been announced.

They are:

School — Safford High School Marching Band

Government — Graham County

Graham County invited everyone to join in and make a joyful noise for Christmas.

Church — Bylas Miracle Church

Bylas Miracle Church made its first appearance in the Holiday Light Parade in 2025, with lighted family dancers.

Nonprofit — Our Neighbors Farm & Pantry

Melodies of Christmas inspire volunteers to grow food, share the harvest and nourish families at Our Neighbor’s Farm and Pantry.

Family/Friends — Robert Schindler

Small Business — Gila Cheer

Just like Santa’s reindeer, Gila All-Star Cheer athletes lead the way, lighting up the Holiday Parade route with Christmas spirit.

Honorable mention went to Cyndee Smith, the Three Wise Man, The Way AZ Church, Eastern Arizona Cinderella Program, Gila Valley Balloon Extravaganza, Open Loop and Gila Valley Clinic.

The theme for this year’s Holiday Light Parade was “Melodies of Christmas.”

Date of presentation of the prizes will be announced at a later date.

Sponsor of the parade was Country Financial, and sponsors of the entertainment by Gila All-Star Cheer, Extreme Martial Arts and Safford Dance Academy included Kempton Chevrolet, CMI, Safford Downtown Association, the Graham County Chamber of Commerce and City of Safford.
