THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s Lee Little Theater will be busy this week, with a trio of events free to the public.
It starts Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m., with the Constitution Day Celebration. The keynote speaker will Graham County Attorney L. Scott Bennett.
On Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m., the Music Department faculty will take the stage for a free recital. Performers include Geoff DeSpain, Dr. Gideon Burrows, Carrie Meredith, Franklin Alvarez and Jeff Skiba.
Then on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m., Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage Corporation will take over the theater for a free event kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month.
“We will have music, speeches and all that,” Bob Rivera with Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage Corporation.
Music will be performed by Mariachi Alegre and the keynote speaker will be Lorenza Lopez Wysong.
