A Thatcher Fourth Grade student was hit by a vehicle while crossing Highway 70 in Thatcher on his way to school this morning. The driver allegedly ran a red light and struck the student in the crosswalk. No information was immediately available about the severity of the injuries or what caused the driver to run the light.
