Teen Mini Golf Thursday at the Library

SAFFORD — Tweens and teens can show off their putting skills at the Safford City-Graham County Library on Thursday.

The Library is hosting a Mini Golf Teen program for seventh to 12th graders from 4-5 p.m. Thursday.

“We’re creating nine mini golf holes, each based on different themes. So we have a Dolly Parton hole, we have a ‘Lord of the Rings,’ we have a ‘Star Wars.’ And it’s for them to just go through a version of a nine-hole mini golf,” said Librarian Victoria Silva.

The course will run throughout the library, with the hazards and holes stationed near books representing the hole’s theme.

It’s the second time the game has been incorporated into library activities, with goofy golf for younger patrons staged last year. And Silva said the library plans to bring mini golf back in the summer for the entire family.

There’s no cost for Thursday’s round of Teen Mini Golf at the library, located at 808 S. 7th Ave.
