SAFFORD — In an effort to develop the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for the four counties that comprise southeastern Arizona — Cochise, Graham, Greenlee and Santa Cruz — the Southeastern Arizona Governments Organization is asking for the public’s input.
SEAGO has opened a SWOT survey, that seeks information about the region’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats when it comes to economic development, transportation, the environment and local resources.
Once the input is received and the data analyzed, SEAGO will produce a five-year Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for the four-county region. That report is expected to be issued this year and be available to local governments, economic development groups and private industry.
