SAFFORD — The upper portion of Swift Trail on Mount Graham will re-open to vehicle traffic next week.
On Thursday, the U.S. Forest Service announced on its social media that the gate on State Route 366, at milepost 136, will re-open Tuesday, April 15, for the spring, summer and fall seasons.
The gate is closed each November due to hazardous driving up the mountain due to snowfall.
