THATCHER — The Graham County Substance Abuse Coalition’s fifth annual Summer Bash Family Night will take place Friday at H. Lyle Grant Park on Reay Lane and U.S. Highway 70 in Thatcher.
“Our prevention team, which is Kathy, Stella and Melissa Mitchell, they just do really great things in the schools and for the kids, and we always have a huge turnout there,” said Kristen Johnson, with Graham County Substance Abuse Coalition and the Sunrise Re-entry Program.
The event will feature Zumba for kids, a petting zoo by Cottontail Farms, water activities courtesy of the Thatcher Fire Department and a scavenger hunt for the whole family.
One More Run will offer a chance to take part in dummy roping and Safford Lions Club will be grilling up hot dogs.
The event runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and there is no cost to attend or take part in any of the activities.
