Study Reveals WFH Productivity Losses, Top Tasks Employees Do on the Clock

Hard at work or hardly working? As companies continue to worry about lost productivity from their remote employees a new report suggests growing paranoia in the workforce.

According to a nationwide survey, 1 in 4 remote workers thinks their employer secretly monitors them. Gen Z is so worried that 1 in 10 uses a mouse jiggler to make it look like they’re working. It could be because of all the things remote workers admit to doing while on the clock…

  • Top things WFH employees do: Laundry, cooking, dishes, watching a movie/tv, napping
  • 54% of remote workers have worked in bed
  • 1 in 10 have worked naked!

And Gen Z’s reputation for being lazy in the workplace may be warranted. 70% of Gen Z has worked from bed, and 90% of has worked in pajamas. 1 in 4 Gen Zers have even taken a work call from the toilet!
