SAFFORD — The next mixer for the Graham County Chamber of Commerce will focus on developing business-to-business contacts in a speed dating format.
“It’s going to be like a round table, where you’re sitting across from someone and every three to five minutes one set of people are going to move,” said Kay Ekval, Membership director for the Chamber.
Torey Cranford, business analyst for the Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College, will be there to instruct business owners on how to give an “elevator speech” — how to describe a business in three minutes or less.
The Sizzlin’ Hot Business Tips Mixer will take place Thursday, Aug. 28, from 5-7 p.m., at the Chamber of Commerce building, 1051 W. Thatcher Blvd, Safford. The mixer is free to Chamber members, $20 for non-members.
The mixer is sponsored by Shroomy mushroom-infused superfood, and Fruita & Vida.
