BOWIE —The Bureau of Land Management announced that half of the entrance to the Hot Well Dunes is now paved and accessible.
The south end of Haekel Road will re-open Oct. 9, while work on the north end will commence Oct. 12. The project is expected to be completed by Nov. 19.
Throughout the project, signs will be posted at the Bowie and Safford ends of the road. Any future changes to the schedule will be reported through BLM Arizona social media platforms and Gila Valley Central.
