SAFFORD — There’s still time to support Bulldogs athletics.
The Safford High School Booster Club is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a Coleman KT 196 Off-Road go-kart.
“(Sales) will be going on until Nov. 5, where we’ll be doing the final drawing live on our Facebook page, and it will be at the Mt. Graham Golf Club,” said Booster Club President Nora Rogers.
Tickets are $10 each or three for $20, and can be purchased via PayPal or Venmo by using the QR code on the Safford High School Booster Club’s Facebook page.
Nov. 5 is also the date of the Booster Club’s inaugural golf tournament. The tournament is a four-man scramble with prizes for first, second and third. Four mulligans per team can be purchased for $20, and $10 will enter players in the closest to the pin, longest putt and longest drive contests.
Cost is $500 per team and includes lunch, cart and range balls. Registration can also be found on the Booster Club’s Facebook page.
Golf tournament sponsors include Yentch’s Concrete, Get a Grip Resurfacing, Montoya Septic Systems and Excavating, 5-Star Homecenter, Tri-County Materials, First Majestic, Western Industrial, Empire Cat, and Kym Gifford Keyhole Properties.
