SAFFORD — There is help available for those who fell behind in their mortgage payments as a result of the pandemic.
SEAGO — The Southeastern Arizona Governments Organization — announced a mortgage and utility assistance program for homeowners in Graham, Greenlee and Cochise counties.
To qualify, a homeowner must:
● Must have qualified for unemployment, suffered a reduction in household income, incurred significant costs or experienced a financial hardships due to COVID-19
● Demonstrate a risk of homelessness or housing instability
● Have a household income at or below 80 percent of the area median
Funds are on a first-come, first-served basis and all requirements must be met.
