SAFFORD — SEACAB is getting ready to ramp back up again.
Southeastern Arizona Clean and Beautiful was founded 13 years ago by Jay Rasco, to beautify the Gila Valley, and conducted hundreds of clean-ups, including at Thunderbird Estates, Little Hollywood, at Frye Mesa, Blue Ponds and more.
“I love exploring this county in my side by side and I was just tired of the illegal dumping. So we formed a non-profit to get it done,” said SEACAB board chairman Tim Linden
With Rasco retired, the board is seeking input from the community on what to do next.
The SEACAB board will conduct an informational meeting Thursday, May 4, at 6:30 p.m., in the Graham County General Services Building. The public is invited to attend to learn more about volunteering and what areas are most in need of attention.
