SAFFORD —Southeastern Arizona Clean and Beautiful (SEACAB) announced its annual Community Pride Days clean up will take place June 13.
The focus will be on four areas
● The railroad tracks along 8th Street across from Walmart, and between Walmart and Walgreens
● The Gila River at the 8th Avenue Bridge
● The Glenn Meadows Park Bike Trail
● Ash Creek Campgrounds area by Cluff Ponds
Volunteers are asked to meet at 7 a.m. at either Walmart’s west parking lot, the northeast side of the Gila River Bride or at Glenn Meadows Park to be assigned a cleanup area, as well as for a safety briefing and to receive equipment. Gloves, vests, safety goggles and trash bags will be provided.
Volunteers are asked to bring hats, sunscreen, water and extra help.
