Safford’s DRG Technologies buys La Fiesta Label & Packaging Systems

SAFFORD — A local business is expanding in a big way.

DRG Technologies announced Monday it had purchased La Fiesta Label & Packaging Systems, located in Chandler.

DRG Technologies is one of the world’s leading label manufacturers and printers, serving a number of industries, including aerospace, electronics, durable goods, manufacturing, medical devices and more.

The purchase of La Fiesta allows DRG Technologies to expand into the shrink sleeves and flexible packaging markets, as well as board stock and digital.

In a prepared statement, Roger Popovec, president of DRG Technologies, said, “We are excited to welcome La Fiesta Label & Packaging Systems to the DRG Technologies family.
