Due to emergency repair work, the City of Safford Water Department has shut off water service in the following areas:
8th Avenue (from 11th Street north to 8th Street)
Water is expected to be off for approximately 3 hours to complete a necessary repair.
27th Street – Emergency Main Break
Water is expected to be off for the majority of the day, approximately 6 hours, as crews work to address a main line issue.
City officials ask for patience as our crews work quickly and safely to restore service.
