Safford Library to re-open Monday

SAFFORD — The Safford City-Graham County Library announced it is re-opening to the public starting Monday, June 1, but not without a few limitations.

Capacity will be limited to 18 patrons at any one time, no one may remain in the building for more than an hour, computer use is limited to no more than 45 minutes, physical distancing of 6 feet between patrons will be observed, and children 8 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

In addition, the first two hours the library is open — from 10 a.m. to noon — will be reserved for senior aged residents.

The summer reading programs for youths and adults, and the Adult Reading Challenge Bingo program, will also resume June 1, but all will be online based. Go to http://cityofsafford.us/693/Summer-Reading-Program for more information and to register.
