SAFFORD — There may be isolated parking restrictions in the Main Street area as the City of Safford upgrades the electrical system downtown.
Work on electric infrastructure will begin this month and work is expected to continue until at least June.
In addition to occasional parking and sidewalk restrictions, there will also be isolated power outages; however, the notification of date time and duration will be made in advance of the outages. Access to all businesses and residences will be maintained.
The work will take place Mondays through Fridays, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with some nights and weekends as needed.
