SAFFORD — The City of Safford announced chip sealing will continue next week, which will necessitate the temporary closure of the street.
Work will take place:
- June 9 — Discovery Park Boulevard, from Highway 191 to 8th Avenue
- June 10 — Discovery Park Boulevard, from 8th Avenue to 17th Avenue
- June 11 — Discovery Park Boulevard, from 17th Avenue to 20th Avenue
The impacted road will be temporarily closed for a few hours on the day of service, weather and equipment permitting. Barricades and cones will be removed once the road is safe to drive on again.
