GRAHAM COUNTY — An argument between a man and his girlfriend’s son resulted in the man arrested on assault and weapons charges.

Graham County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on North Saguaro Drive, after witnesses reported hearing gunshots.

Deputies found Scott Overall there, bleeding from the nose and elbows. Overall reportedly said his nose was injured when his girlfriend’s son tossed a rock through his windshield, but he couldn’t remember how his elbows became injured.

Overall reportedly admitted to arguing with his girlfriend’s son, but denied firing a weapon at a car, as the boy, his sister and mother reported.

A .40 Glock was found in Overall’s car, which he said he had fired earlier in the day at the Gila River. Overall was taken into custody and booked into Graham County Jail on charges of aggravated assault/domestic violence, and misconduct involving weapons.
