Report: 70% of Homeowners Turning to Social Media to Fix Repairs Due to Rising Costs

Owning a home comes with many advantages: no pesky landlords and a space to call your own, but when something goes wrong, it can be a big burden to bear. 

A new report from All Star Home found 1 in 4 homeowners can’t afford a $1,000 emergency repair and 1 in 3 have already dealt with unexpected repairs this year! In Arizona, HVAC issues are the most common home repair.

Because of this, many people are taking matters into their own hands: 70% are using social media to fix home issues and avoid hiring professionals. By using help from social media, homeowners have saved an average of $1,190 DIY-ing repairs!
