PIMA – The Pima Roughriders look not only to compete in 11-man football but to repeat last year’s feat in its previous lower division and become state champions.
This year, Pima is in the 2A East Region, along with Thatcher, Morenci, San Carlos, St. Johns, Round Valley and Miami. Its first tests will be away games at Miami, Ariz. and Gilbert Christian before opening at home Sept. 2 against Bisbee.
