PIMA — The Pima Community Kindness Project will hold its first big event this weekend.
“On May 1, we’re going to have the swap meet, we’re going to have some information about Arbor Day and tree planting, (and) we’re going to have an open house of the new elementary school (building) all at the same time. So we’d like everyone to put that on their calendar — May 1,” said JoAnn Draper, chair of the Pima Community Kindness Project.
The event will run from 7 to 11 a.m. and takes place on the Pima High School football field.
