PIMA — Pima Fire Department will conduct another fund-raiser in August, the 2022 Big Splash Bash.
Pima Fire Department is raising funds for a new fire station.
The Big Splash Bash will take place Saturday, Aug. 13, from 5-9 p.m., at the town pool and park.
Use of the pool will be free; however, donations are welcomed. And there will be emergency vehicles on display for the children to see and learn about.
The bash will feature food, music and games, as well as the big splash competition. Raffle drawings will take place throughout the evening.
Both the Pima Library and Fire Department are in the process of fund-raising for new facilities. The Fire Department would like to demolish the current station and develop a larger station at the same location.
Library officials would like to develop a new facility nearer to the schools, which would allow the Fire Department to store equipment in what is now the current library building.
