PIMA — Two new members of the Town Council brought a change to one leadership position in the Town of Pima.

During Tuesday’s regular meeting, Georgia Luster and Cade Bryce were sworn in to serve four-year terms, following their wins in the August Primary Election.

Luster previously worked as the Safford City Clerk, having worked for the city for 26 years. She said moving from staff to the policy side of the dais is “very different.”

“I appreciate the confidence of the Town of Pima and the residents of the town, and I hope to bring my experience to address some of the infrastructure needs and stuff that we have,” Luster said.

The first action Luster and Bryce were asked to take was the selection of a mayor and vice mayor. With no debate, Brian Paull was unanimously selected to serve a second term as Pima mayor, and Teresa Bailey was unanimously selected to serve as vice mayor.
