THATCHER — One of the Gila Valley’s most popular holiday attractions returns this weekend.

Pamper ladies Night Out will take place at the Eastern Arizona College Activities Center Friday, Dec. 6, from 6-9 p.m.; and Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 each day.

The event is designed for the women of the Gila Valley, with nearly 40 vendors hand-picked for women to shop for holiday gifts for family and friends, or for themselves; everything from fashion and jewelry, to home décor and beauty items.

The highlight of the event is the fashion show on Friday night. Local women, teens and young girls volunteer to be runway models, showing off the latest clothing available at a number of Graham County retailers. The fashion show also spotlights the Deserving Divas, a group of women selected by organizers for a full make-over.

The event serves as a fund-raiser for the EAC Monster Exchange, a food and clothing pantry that makes necessary items available to Eastern students in need. Pamper Me raised $3,500 for the Monster Exchange in 2022, the last time the event was staged.

Pamper Me Ladies Night Out is sponsored by Copper and Cotton Lifestyle Co, The Fix Lifestyle and Wellness, CMI, Fizek Fitness, The Wear, Forever Sweet, Eastern Arizona College School of Cosmetology and the Associated Students Eastern Arizona College.
