Pamela Sue Wise O’Dell, 59, of Duncan, entered eternal rest on February 13, 2017. She was born March 22, 1957 in Spokane, Washington to James Alfred, Jr. & Barbara Laverne Spruill Wise and later raised by her mother & step-father, Ronnie Larry Maillet.
Pam attended the College of Albemarle in Elizabeth City, North Carolina receiving her Associates of Arts degree. She enjoyed crocheting, doing genealogy, reading, collecting hummingbirds and teapots.
She met and later married Cecil O’Dell on May 15, 2001 in Springerville, AZ and loved to go to Alpine, AZ, where they honeymooned, each year to celebrate their anniversary. She fulfilled a dream of seeing the Grand Canyon the first week she was in Arizona. Pam was a simple woman who loved life and was always willing to help and care for others, especially her beloved Cecil.
Pam is survived by her husband Cecil, and children; Don Spence, Jr. (Linda) of Elizabeth City, NC, Jamie Denise Bundy (Wesley) and Keith Spence (Krystal) both of Edenton, NC, siblings; James Alfred Wise of Williston, FL, Lonnie Joe Wise, Rhonda Lynn Forbes , John Marshall Wise all of Elizabeth City NC and step-brother Jason Maillet of Virginia Beach, VA, and 7 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father James Alfred Wise, Jr., mother Barbara Spruill Maillet and step-father Ronnie Maillet.
Services for Pam will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 with a viewing at 9:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Duncan Stake Center. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
