SAFFORD — A two-vehicle collision has resulted in the death of a 17-year-old girl.
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said the crash involving a tractor-trailer and a Chevrolet Suburban SUV occurred at about 10:42 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, on U.S. Highway 191 at milepost 115, in the southbound lane.
The girl who died in the incident was traveling in the Suburban. There were no other injuries reported and identity of the victim has not yet been released.
Cause of the crash has not yet been released and DPS troopers continue to investigate the incident.
