PHOENIX — The number of DUI arrests statewide over the Memorial Day weekend showed a drop compared to last year.
That’s according to data released by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
Statewide, there were 449 arrests for driving under the influence May 27-31, a 24 percent decline from 2021’s holiday weekend.
There were also 110 DUI-drug arrests this year and 18 people cited for being under 21 and having liquor.
