SAN CARLOS — With COVID-19 cases on the rise again, the San Carlos Apache Tribal council voted to reduce from 50 the number of people who gather together to 10, the same number when the pandemic was its peak in July.

The council also voted to prohibit door-to-door trick or treating and Halloween parties.

The tribe reported 22 new cases Tuesday, bringing the tribe’s total to 1,500 with 16 deaths.
