New photos released of “Armed and Dangerous” fugitive couple

The U.S. Marshal’s Service has released new photos of Blane and Susan Barksdale. The photos were taken at San Juan County Jail the night before their escape. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the fugitive couple are urged to call 911 immediately.

The Barksdales have been on the run since August 26, 2019 after they allegedly overpowered security guards while being extradited to Arizona to stand trial for murder.

A reward is being offered of up to $10,000 per fugitive for information leading to their arrest. If you have information please call 1-877-WANTED or 911.

The couple’s direction of travel is unknown. Investigators have information that they may be traveling through Arizona and were last seen in a red GMC Sierra pickup truck (license plate: AZ 127XTY) with front passenger side and rear bumper damage.

The Barksdales allegedly overpowered the security guards (a man and a woman) who were transporting them to Tucson while making a stop in Utah. They reportedly tied up the guards and fled in the van. They abandoned the van approximately 20 miles from St Johns, Arizona. The security guards managed to get free about 6 hours later.

The Barksdales then acquired the red GMC Sierra through a friend, according to the U.S. Marshal’s Service.
