GRAHAM COUNTY — Coronado National Forest officials announced that work has started to upgrade a popular recreation destination.
Crews began Monday installing a large floating fishing dock at Riggs Flat Lake on Mount Graham. The new dock will replace the existing deteriorated pier.
Riggs Flat Lake is routinely stocked with brown and rainbow trout during the summer months and fishing is open May through October each year. A fishing license through Arizona Game and Fish is required.
Boats are limited to a single trolling motor.
