Ground-breaking for Bylas Headstart is Oct. 30

BYLAS — The San Carlos Apache Tribe announced development of two new Headstart facilities are about to begin.

Ground-breaking for a new Headstart building in Bylas will take place Wednesday, Oct. 30, and the facility will be located next to the Bylas Boys and Girls Club.

The Bylas Headstart facility will be 7,980 square feet, with four classrooms, three administrative offices, two adult restrooms and eight children’s restrooms — four boys and four girls —a kitchen, utility rooms, lobby and playgrounds.

Ground-breaking for a second Headstart facility took place Wednesday in San Carlos. That facility will be 14,250 square feet.
