SAFFORD — The Safford Ranger District of the National Forest Service is making a number of upgrades to public access areas on Mount Graham.
The toilets at Noon Creek Campground are closed until new buildings can be installed. And installation of new toilet buildings in the Upper Arcadia Group Areas is expected to begin Tuesday, Feb. 18.
While hiking will still be available on the Arcadia National Recreation Trail, parking at the Upper Arcadia Group Areas will be prohibited.
Crane is expected to be in use at both locations Tuesday, Feb. 25, which will travel delays of 30 minutes to one hour.
Visitors to Mount Graham are asked to use the facilities at Arcadia Campground, which will also be open for camping reservations.
