THATCHER, Ariz. — Professor Eugene Silberstein, the director of technical education and standards at the ESCO Institute and author of the number-one HVAC-R textbook used in more than 1,000 colleges and schools, will provide a lecture and advanced industry training at Eastern Arizona College on Oct. 25 from 7 to 10 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. in ITB-120. Anyone interested in an HVAC-R career is welcome to attend the lecture to learn more about opportunities in this growing industry.

In addition to meeting with the public, he will provide advanced training to our instructors, helping them gain an even deeper understanding of the physics and theories needed to teach this topic at the highest level.”

Biographical Information

Eugene Silberstein is considered one of the top authorities in HVAC-R education, having been named one of the top instructors by AHRI and the ACHR News on three separate occasions in the last decade. His credentials include a Master of Science in Energy and Environmental Science, dual Bachelorette degrees, Certified Master HVACR Educator “CMHE”, and Building Energy Assessment Professional “BEAP.” He has worked as a field technician, system designer, teacher, administrator, consultant and author. The titles that he has either authored or co-authored include: Pressure Enthalpy Without Tears, Psychrometrics Without Tears, Residential Construction Academy: HVAC, Heat Pumps, and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology.
